As promised I packed little Logan and his sisters and out to the studio we went for his first newborn session. Yes we may have another since he changes so much every day. Maybe a little Logan book would be cool.... hmmm the opportunity here (-:

Hello all from Northside Hospital.
Just wanted to give everyone an update and let you know that Logan arrived at 4:25 on Friday August 8th. I will post some studio pictures sometime this week and add a few quick snap shots of the little turkey today.
We will reopen the studio on August 23 for new clients and I will be handling all of the post production and delivery of prints for the existing clients until then.
Thank you all for your calls and support during this pregnancy, I am truly blessed to have such wonderful and caring customers.

Ok, so this is just a little heart warming story and since it’s nearing the holidays I figured that I would share.
When I was young (no I’ll never tell you how old I am, so forget it!) my aunt and uncle would always come and visit, each time wielding a camera and ready to capture anything that my brother and I could come up with.
From climbing a tree, to riding in my little car, and yes, even the little sister kiss was captured, our Great Dane Deacon standing proudly in front of the igloo we had made in the snow. Anything, she would just fine away, year after year.
Well as luck would have it, one Christmas when I was older and more responsible I received a package from my Aunt. Inside I found that she had created albums, with a story for every picture and every page. I slowly examined each photograph and carefully read over the sentences that followed. I could remember each one with amazing clarity, and how much fun my brother and I had when she was there.
This was the best gift I have ever received, the most valued of all my possessions, completely irreplaceable. I can grab those books and look through each photograph and be pulled back into that place and that time, and just make me smile.
Yes, I’m planning on doing the same things for my four kids. They hate it when I chase them around with the camera. Ok, only my 9 year old does. But, when she’s in her twenties and I hand them over….. Man, she’s going to thank me then.
